Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Thomas grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He's also a talented Shepherd, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and expand his business
