Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: John was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with tan lining and desert motifs. His white hair is knotted and matted. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Description: He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He carries a battered nunchaku and tarnished greataxe as well. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. His violet eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and human compassion

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 6'3" and wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His long blonde hair reaches down to his waist. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Manfred's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of orcs once and for all.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting orcs, the young Manfred began to lead the lost caravan. After a long history of fighting, Manfred and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears long strands of amethyst and short tan dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. His golden hair and beard is wavy and long. He has gleaming, smiling brown eyes.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Arnold was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
