History: Gilbert hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.
Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with tan lining and desert motifs. His brown hair is thinning but still full. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.
History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: He wears a tight fitting tan shirt and pants. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His gray eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Solomon lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: He is a Fortune-teller first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Fortune-teller.
Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Description: This dark-skinned male wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. He is bald on top and has large silver tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes are gray and catlike.
Personality: He is fixated on the number 43. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Dean was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. One day when Dean was young, his mother was sewing while trying to overcome the flu, when suddenly his mother dropped to the ground dead. His mother had died from a severe disease that was unknown to the village doctor. Dean was heart-stricken from the event, and his father started working long hours to provde for them. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sellsword they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Dilettante, and he later adopted a second son.
Motivation: Regain custody of his son.
