Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting giants, the young Gerald began to lead the lost caravan. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and a deep hatred of giants

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with deerstalker hat. He has no hair. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady hazel eyes.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Balimaar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.

Description: He is a pot bellied southern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He usually wears his pastel robe and has his ceremonial dagger always slung over his shoulder. He has shaved his head bald. His ears are large.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Bounty Hunter who has hired him part-time. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC.

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and green, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. He has a very tight haircut. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He can't help but pocket interesting objects he comes across

History: He was born into a rich family. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered brigands who tried to eat his hand. Being a Jeweler kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.
