History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a tan coat. He wears his chestnut hair down. He is baby faced.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Frederick was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Frederick decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Description: He wears pastel robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a quarterstaff, but if one is not available he will default to his lance, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'8" when asserting himself. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His green eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

Description: He stands about 6'0" and wears a simple blue robe with black stripes complete with hood. His right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. His moppish black hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His eyes are likewise violet.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Lance will drive conversation. He uses divination through singing.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Description: He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He has a auburn handlebar mustache and slicked back auburn hair. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep green.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
