History: Cory lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His first spouse was a Merchant, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He got into the Shepherd business at a young age. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and to be a scribe again

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A freak accident while working with his Detective mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. After coming to the age of reason, Miles took it upon himself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and human compassion
