History: Born to a Brewer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When Richard reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Performer and was forced into it by his family.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Bernard has worked very hard to control his curse. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
