History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. During his travels, Conrad and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Conrad discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Conrad fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Gunter was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he's looking for his big break

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His hair is short and red. His green eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Adelard hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and to prove his worth to the world

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he wears a simple red robe with tan stripes complete with hood. He has styled his chestnut hair well, parting it to the right. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Expand his business; and sabotage a competitor
