Description: An older man who wears long strands of jet and short violet dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths, he is not a threatening figure. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy chestnut stubble. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. He has a hunchback. With bright chestnut hair and a scraggly beard. He wears an eyepatch.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His hair is black and curly. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. The war was a terrible time for him, and Roland does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roland fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Description: He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. He wears a Stetson hat to hide his balding. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and regain custody of his son

Description: A moderately attractive man, he is dressed in earthy colors with a brown and tan handkerchief worn on his right side. His silver hair is smooth and relatively long. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are violet.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Fortune-teller arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs
