One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Roland took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up club and armor he uses now. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Bernard never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Through the years after Bernard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Bernard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Heward hails from a village terrorized by brigands. A gifted student he started as a Actor, but he got bored and became a Baker. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Baker for hire.
