History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Nicholas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: The child of a Mortician, who enjoyed hunting, Gerard was taken on many hunting expeditions. When Gerard reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Bernard hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Bernard was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Miner and was forced into it by his family; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
