Description: An older man who wears many layers of old clothing at all times, he is not a threatening figure. His moppish black hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His fierce brown eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. After a long history of fighting, Theodoric and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Scribe and was forced into it by his family; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: He is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Dyer, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'1" when asserting himself. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy golden hair. His brown unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.
History: He was born in a small island village. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears a yellow vest and prefers green and yellow shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His hair is long and silver with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small yellow clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.
Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is frequently practicing swordplay.
History: Born to a pair of adventurers, William grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with blue lining and desert motifs. He carries with him a set of ceremonial daggers on his belt, each one with a topaz on the hilt. His chestnut hair is heavily combed to the left. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Theodoric was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Theodoric abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. His hair is auburn and very short. His violet eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and he's repulsed by the pc
