History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Randal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. History: Jocelyn lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Jocelyn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
