He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Everard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: Chad is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it.

Personality: Hubert wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born to a Brewer, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Architect.

History: Gilbert lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Fletcher. He tends to his Fletcher job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and an old rival family wants him found
