Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'6" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. He has moderate length silver hair. His eyes are gray and beady.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gilbert does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. When Gilbert reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He is renowned for his bright grey suits and hats. His white hair is still thick. He has amber eyes and a grey hat with a red feather.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scythe.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Description: A moderately attractive man, he very much looks the part of a Layabout. His auburn hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. His amber eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Roland was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Roland's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Layabout responsibilities is difficult; and expand his business

Ideals: Joker. Flaws: Antagonistic. Bonds: Job, Attractive, Military. Occupation: Layabout

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. Henry was born on a far northern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Servant. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears a tight fitting grey shirt and pants. He has a very tight haircut. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Theodoric was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A freak accident while working with his Brewer mother left him crippled. During his travels, Theodoric and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Theodoric discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Theodoric fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and he's looking for his big break
