History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
