History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Thomas has worked very hard to control his curse. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Nicholas hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.
