Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Gilbert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Gilbert never married again. History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Ralf was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Ralf's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He has all his life been fascinated with painting.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions
