History: Rolf was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Shepherd for the past few years.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and many giants want him driven away

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Bertram grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.
