History: Born to a Mason, his mother struggled to pay the bills. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Ralf never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and has the majority of his body covered in plate. His skin is also unnaturally pale. With a patchy brown beard and wild brown hair. His brown eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He hates Humans with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He tends to wear a large green jacket. He sports a long black beard, and similarly colored long hair. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady hazel eyes.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. Diggory enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Description: A middle-aged man, he is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured, and is pretty ugly. He keeps his long brown hair kept up in a rat tail. His green eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Bookbinder born in the past three hundred years. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Roger was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
