Roland Stanley, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears a white vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His green leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his white boots flare out at the collars. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his falchion, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a cross on it. He has a long blonde beard with little hanging trinkets. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.
Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Miller arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Roland Ryland, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a red vest and prefers violet and black shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His hair is white and curly. This brown eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.
History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Roland grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Roland. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
Motivation: Seeks redemption; and to reunite with his old friends

Don Abram, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. He wears his silver hair up in a very large beehive style do. His violet eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.
History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Don took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up flail and armor he uses now. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: He is content; and to prove his worth to the world
