History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. His childhood dream was to be a Locksmith, but he was a colossal failure. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and an old rival family wants him found

History: Bertram was born in the south. At a young age he loved to build and create. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
