Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.

Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is typically in his Painter uniform. He has golden hair. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Hugh was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 8 years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and he's looking for his big break

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in John's homeland. John decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: The child of a Hunter, who enjoyed hunting, Hubert was taken on many hunting expeditions. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.
