Jocelyn Fawcett, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty pastel coat over it. He wears his chestnut hair up in a very large beehive style do. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady blue eyes.
Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He invites people to come help in his community garden.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jocelyn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and revenge

Personal [hide]
Description: He is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His red hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Description: This western man is abnormally tall. He dresses in white turtlenecks beneath a yellow coat with green slacks. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His black hair, when down, is lengthy. His hazel eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personal [hide]
Description: This man wears suspenders and green workpants. His shirt is yellow, and he wears a heavy green leather apron most of the time. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized amber on his right hand. His blonde hair, when down, is lengthy. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. The war was a terrible time for him, and Patrick does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. When Patrick reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Patrick fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: The light-skinned man stands 6'5" and wears dark leathers with embroidery. His tied-back hair is blonde. His skin is flawless and his hazel eyes scan people very quickly.
Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He takes great pride in his work and is very well organized. His planner is full of calendar events.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Mayor. He's also a talented Apothecary, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.
