He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has achieved small success as a Unemployed.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Richard grew up listening to his father's many stories. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears white trousers with tan and grey striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. He sports a long brown beard, and similarly colored long hair. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines brown.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Bernard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Bernard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
