Description: He stands about 6'0" and wears silk and lounges about seductively. His right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. He keeps his auburn hair in a pixie cut. He has a dull look in his green eyes.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Charles lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Charles was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Map Maker. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Mortician profession.

History: Gifted from a young age, Arnold studied abroad. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Courier. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and wants to raise his children well

Description: He wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around his neck, and a rapier on his belt, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'0" when asserting himself. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy black hair. His green eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Ideals: Fighting, Justice. Flaws: Disease, Insomniac. Bonds: Family. Occupation: Locksmith

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Flaws: Ugly. Bonds: Guardian, Religious, Mentor, Adventurer, Job. Occupation: Assassin

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and he has a crush on the local bellfounder

Ideals: Philantrophist, Entrepeneur. Flaws: Ugly. Bonds: Rich, Nature, Has a crush. Occupation: Crown-heir
