Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Balimaar embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: Born to a Cartwright, his father struggled to pay the bills. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born in the east to a Tailor, Conrad learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Fisher, but he got bored and became a Tailor. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He got into the Healer business at a young age. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born to a Shepherd, his father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Junk Dealer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
