He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: Thomas is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Architect. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and wants his loneliness to end

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Bricklayer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He now mingles about in high society.

He did whatever it took for him to survive. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father.
