History: Adelard hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Adelard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Tim abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bellfounder and was forced into it by his family; and regain custody of his daughter

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
