History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Balimaar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Balimaar and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Human compassion; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His hair is long and silver with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small blue clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. His eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Bricklayer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Bricklayer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Bernard was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Bernard's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he seems to be bored by most things

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He wears black painted combat armor at almost all times. He has shaved his head bald. His violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: Everard hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his dancing career. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he's looking for his big break
