History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Bernard was born with his father's beautiful face. Bernard was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Bernard decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Baker responsibilities is difficult; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
