Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Gifted from a young age, Kody studied abroad. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Manfred embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Manfred was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Shane was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns.
