Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Kyle hails from a village terrorized by illithids. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and an old rival family wants him found

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic right leg, he wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his pickaxe with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His red hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines hazel.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. Chad is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Chad grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Detective work with an outfit from a few towns over. Detective work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of white, and is pulled back with small green clips. His beard is white, braided, and well cared for. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep blue.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born to a Glassblower, his mother struggled to pay the bills. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: He was born in the east. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
