Description: He is dressed in an above average manner. He has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. His hair is cut close to his head. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Lance alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Lance was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and revenge

Description: He likes to wear violet tank tops with black pants. He has relatively dark skin and is very physically imposing due to his abundance of muscles. His hair is short and silver. His brown eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of gnolls may trigger it at times.
History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Fisher arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
Motivation: He wants revenge against gnolls.

Description: 5'8" and muscular, this eastern man wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His hair is auburn and very short. This amber eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.
Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and someone believes him a fraud

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his shield, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a rose on it. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy white hair. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

History: Ernest was born with his mother's beautiful face. Ernest was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Ernest decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.
History: Trym was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to end his boredom
