History: Born in the north to a Banker, Miles learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He plays an instrument quite well.
History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has never given up on his music dream.

Description: He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his sai with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He carries with him a set of sais, each one with a amethyst on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He wears a broad hat to cover his moderate length red hair. His eyes are violet and beady.
Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Manfred's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Manfred grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Manfred. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Manfred fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.
History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

Description: This eastern man is abnormally tall. He wears a simple brown robe with black stripes complete with hood. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. With bright brown hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are likewise hazel.
Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Adelard's homeland. Adelard decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
