History: Born in the south to a Carter, Hugh learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
