He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: Robert was born the youngest of three triplets. A gifted student he started as a Crown-heir, but he got bored and became a Sage. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Some 10 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Miles never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Patrick took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up lance and armor he uses now. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Patrick was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.
