History: Ernest hails from a village terrorized by giants. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Scribe for hire.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 39. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Cory was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Herbalist, but he got bored and became a Shepherd. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and expand his business

Description: He usually wears his blue robe and has his shield always slung over his shoulder, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'7" when asserting himself. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.

History: Dean hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and many brigands want him driven away

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Shane alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His childhood dream was to be a Sailor, but he was a colossal failure. After a long history of fighting, Solomon and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.
