History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Stableman. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lance fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
