Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. The war was a terrible time for him, and Alex does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Engraver. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Description: 6'2" and muscular, this northern man wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His auburn hair is heavily combed to the right. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born in the north to a Mortician, Jocelyn learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the north were limited. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and a strong sense of loyalty to human people

Description: He prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'5" when asserting himself. His auburn hair is still thick. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Theobald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and he loathes his own lifestyle
