History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Gerard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
