Norman Hackney, Male Human [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This younger middle-aged man wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat, and a wedding ring on his left hand. His brown hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His violet eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Bricklayer business.
History: Norman was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bricklayer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he desires power and/or immortality
Ideals: Persistence. Flaws: Cynical. Bonds: In love, Poor, Adventurer. Occupation: Bricklayer
Voice: Sore throat, cough
