Through the years after Lance was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Lance's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
