History: Born to a Seamstress, his father struggled to pay the bills. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scythe.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Hugh was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Layabout. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
