Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

He has a small bristly mustache and wavy auburn hair. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He hates gnolls. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Gilbert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many gnolls want him driven away
