History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Bertram was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Description: He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). He carries with him a set of bows, each one with a jet on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. Sporting a silver mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His ears are large.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Miles grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Miles. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Expand his business.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A gifted student he started as a Cook, but he got bored and became a Seamstress. He has achieved small success as a Seamstress.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and further expansion of business
