He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hubert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: The child of a Interpreter, who enjoyed hunting, Bertram was taken on many hunting expeditions. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He bought a trident and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.
