History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Gilbert was a troubled youth. Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
