History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Heward grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Crown-heir. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Bernard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
