History: Born in the north to a Bricklayer, Hubert learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Bricklayer.

Personality: Manfred is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. A friendly and beautiful Human, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Manfred liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 9 years.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his shield, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. He wears his silver hair down. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. Ralf enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Ralf and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
